The 3rd in-person meeting of the Southeastern and Southwestern Injury Prevention Network (formerly the South to Southwest Injury Prevention Network) took place March 16-18 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Participants from each of the 13 states in the network participated, as well as representatives from the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Children’s Safety Network, The Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas, the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center, and the Emory University Center for Injury Control, and the Kentucky Injury Prevention Research Center. Shannon Frattaroli of the Johns Hopkins Bloomburg School of Pubic Health was the keynote speaker.
